Filmmaker's Statement
Film is a visual creative piece with messages embedded in between the moving images, that are meant to be taken and interpreted every step of the way. My work’s purpose is to spark deeper conversation and meaning, using embedded indirect messages, about the bigger world my stories aim to establish, leaving the audience with many questions to ask and the desire to yearn for more about the established cinematic world. Each piece I create is a visual representation of important themes, we tend to ponder every day.

About Ethan
Ethan Pham is an independent filmmaker based in Philadelphia, PA, with a degree in the Bachelor of Arts in film and media. Ethan has over 5 years of experience, specializing in cinematography as director of photography during production, and high attention to detail as an editor in post.
Ethan has been doing independent work for himself and other independent artists. His strong knowledge of directing and advising crew has produced narrative films that are pitched and funded by investors and the public. Ethan tells stories through his visual-art form, using colors, lighting, and frame composition to spark deeper conversation amongst the community.
